Happy Spring!

Isn't the weather finally nice?! Wow! I took yesterday (Friday) off cause I had to have some dental work done, and couldn't believe how nice it was. Crummy that I had to go to the dentist, but if the weather is going to be awesome, why not?!
Have you seen some of the new stuff at the store?!! OMGosh! Good thing I was drooling before I went in, so that Kari wouldn't have to clean up more of my mess when I was in yesterday. There's some awesome Maya Road sheer paper. And clocks (I love me my clocks!) And new paper lines.... Wow! Fun stuff! =]
So here's what I did with last month's kit:

This is our goofy cat. You know, the one we actually paid money for. I hear you can get cats for free... *sigh* He's such a goof ball, but a loveable cat. He certainly loves anything that has feathers on it. I cut out his name by tracing chipboard letters. I inked the edges with distress ink. And then added a little bit of pen work. I even used pop dots on a few letters to add dimension to them.
My only sister lives in Strathmore, and I don't get to see her as often as I would like. She was down a few weeks ago, and so I had

some photos taken of us with my mom. My mom and sister are pretty amazing... strong. smart. as you can see, pretty. Love them!

And check this out, a TWO page layout! Gasp!! LOL! I don't do them often, but this turned out pretty cool, huh? I punched out some of the circles, and used (more) pop dots to attach them. I seem to be using a lot of pop dots lately. A lot... kinda scary, really.
So my friends, I hope this inspires you a little. I haven't even put my stuff away from the last crop I was at two weeks ago. I've been a little busy round here... but like I said, I picked up some fabulous stuff at the store yesterday, and I'm itching to play with it. Have fun!! See ya soon!

p.s. I've fiddled with this post for 5 minutes trying to get the two pictures of the two page layout side by side. Can't do it... could ya use your imagination for me, and picture in your head how wonderful it looks the way it's supposed to? thanx!
and double p.s. remember, you can see any photo larger by doubling clicking on it. It then turns out HUGE! But at least you can see more detail. =]
