A few reminders

Dont forget about the Valentines Day Card contest that is running at the store. Cards are due by this Friday (yes, it is Friday, Feb 13).

Well, I chatted with Kari and we decided that 10 is the perfect number. Remember, for every question you answer, your name will go into the draw for a little summin' summin' from Kari :) Go back to answer any or all of the past 9 questions. I am hoping we can do this again.

So here is my question today. Do you only scrapbook the good/happy things or do you include the sad/not so perfect things too?

This came to me as I sat at work thinking of my dad in surgery this morning and waiting for the call that all was done/ok. I have only scrapbooked the good/happy things in life so far - family, friends, K-bear's 1st year, trips, trips and more trips. Oh, I have good intentions of scrapbooking a page on my Uncle who passed away over 3 years ago, but I just cant get it together. I have good intentions of scrapbooking a page on my Aunt who passed away last year, but I just cant get it together. It is so hard to think of them and get those memories on paper - and I admit, I am kinda afraid to do it.........will that close a chapter? Will I then not have as strong of memories bc they are down on paper and not only in my heart? I know i will one day scrapbook them, when the time is right.

Hi again!

So I was in the store briefly last weekend, and I must say, you guys sure know how to make a girl feel good! *blush* Seems a few of you like my stuff! And yes, I'm a real, live person, which was a pretty funny comment, LOL!

Would you like to see what I dropped off at the store? I do have Feb.'s kit to show you, but you'll have to wait a few days for that...

This is a layout I did of my sweet nephew, Joe. I'm not sure if you can read the journalling, so it says: Isn't Joe's t-shirt cute?? His Auntie Michelle gave it to him, as a gift to me, I think!

I cut out a felt heart, and stitched around it, and added a button and some brass flowers. Who says flowers are only for girls?

I love love love this October Afternoon paper (Night Light Louie I believe..?)and as soon as I saw it, I knew I could use these photos of Joe on it. And when I was cutting it out, I thought to myself that the little monsters/dinosaurs were so stinking cute. And I wondered how I could make them any cuter. So I looked over my stash and saw some googly eyes, and added them.

I think they turned out even cuter than what they were to begin with, don't you?

Took the girls sledding at the beginning of January... the blue Maya Road frame worked perfectly to highlight them in the midst of all the kids...

Tim Holtz is totally my hero, and so much of his stuff worked on this layout. The game spinner. The "giggle" token. The distress inks.

Sigh. I love his stuff. And I stitched around the photo and added buttons. I've actually done that a lot lately, love the effect.

This was just something quick and simple without much journalling to it. A few of the inside pages are just trading card holder inserts that I cut up and used as pages... Stop in the store and check it out in it's entireity. I only took a few photos to show you.

hey ladies just wanted to share a really cool web site i found..its called Picnik if you just type that into google it comes up....its a web site for altering photos..and i left an example of one i did for yous to see....go check it out and have some fun!!!! WARNING!!!!! its addicting.

I must say this kit was awesome to work with!!!! such fun papers and colours....as u can see u will have no trouble with cards with these fun little valentines day cards, which is actually a piece of pattern paper!!!

this was the LO that i had sit on my desk for 5 days straight not sure what to do with it...it turned out better than i thought when all was said and done.....Live Love Laugh.

AWWWW!!!! newest nephew Grayson and grandma havign a snuggle, this stitching papaer just reminded me of my mother in law, she is always sewing or stiching something so the paper seemed suitable.

and once again...a goofy LO of shane and i ...im gonna have to bribe him to get a nice one...im scared to go for any sort of family pics cause this may be the result ..and i will not pay money for that ..kwim???
